The Industrial Gas Association of Singapore (IGAS) and the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) will be jointly organising the “Industrial Gases Safety Seminar 2012”.

Industrial gases have been and are widely used in Singapore. In-spite of the wealth of information available, we still have reports of serious accidents due the improper handling, storage and usage of industrial gases in compressed or liquefied state.

This seminar is intended to provide insight to the causes of gases hazards, which aims to increase the awareness of the industry and to provide industrial best practices to eliminate workplace accidents.
